Are you playing to your strengths?

The aim of this course is to help participants understand and use their unique strengths in ways that boost their energy, wellbeing, and impact.

Knowing how to make the most of your unique strengths helps you focus on the things you do well and enjoy. This doesn't just benefit you, but also the people and groups you live, work, and volunteer with.

Research shows that a strengths focus helps you...

  • Strengthen Yourself - By understanding what motivates you, you'll be happier, more confident and achieve your goals easier.
  • Strengthen Your Work - By doing more of what you love, you'll be more engaged, perform better, and be more productive.
  • Strengthen Your Relationships - When you work on the right things with people, relationships and communication improve.

Intended Audience

This course is relevant for all adults working in an international or independent school setting. The exercises will enable all participants to apply their learning to their particular context.

About the Facilitator


Kristin Lowe is a former international school teacher now working as an Positive Education Consultant and Certified Positive Psychology/Solutions-Focused Coach. 

She helps international school educators build a positive school culture through strengths-based personal and team development, positive peer coach training, and schoolwide Positive Education programs. 

Kristin is the Visible Wellbeing Program Leader at American School of The Hague, and she is the founder of the Positivity Playground, a global peer coaching network supporting adult wellbeing in international schools around the world.

Time commitment between sessions

Before starting the course, participants will need to complete 30-45 minutes pre-work: completing a strengths assessment and reviewing/reflecting on their personal strengths report.
