Participants will first view a 30-minute recorded segment from the Virtual Conference presented by Emily Thomas, using the metaphor of a trellis and vine to illustrate how structures and standards can support student growth. This will be followed by a live 30-minute Q&A and discussion with Emily J. Thomas, offering space to reflect, ask questions, and explore how this alignment might look across different school contexts. Participants will map connections, co-create school-specific strategies, and leave with practical tools to support student-centered learning.

With over a decade of experience in international schools, Emily supports schools in aligning mission-driven values with IB frameworks and student-centered practices. Her work focuses on interdisciplinary learning, reflective teaching, and strategic curriculum design.
