About this webinar
AI is getting more powerful, not less. Across every age group, young people are forming relationships with AI in ways that deserve honest attention from the adults who know them best.
This webinar starts with what we actually know about how young people are engaging with AI for emotional support, advice, and companionship. It then makes a grounded, evidence-informed case for why human connection matters more in this landscape, not less, and what that means practically for the adults who support them.
Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of the AI landscape as it affects student wellbeing, one practical framework they can use immediately, and three starting points for conversations with students, families, and colleagues.
This session is designed to sit alongside counseling expertise, not replace it. I bring the AI and education lens. Counselors bring the relational expertise. The aim is that both are stronger for the conversation.
