Suspending Certainty - What Is It and Why Does It Matter in Schools?

About this webinar
In this webinar, Jennifer will introduce attendees to one of the key skills counselors need to support a healthy professional culture of learning in their schools: the ability to suspend certainty. This concept is one of the five facets explored in her book, Stretching Your Learning Edges: Growing (Up) at Work.
Participants will reflect on what it means to truly listen to others without becoming defensive, and how curiosity and inquisitiveness can foster growth more effectively than judgment or accusation. Through self-assessments, discussions, and video activities, attendees will deepen their understanding of how to model and strengthen their ability to stretch themselves at their learning edges.
