When stressors appear, or crisis occurs, resilient people pivot to certain strategies and tools to enable flexibility, clarity and calm. This presentation presents the latest research and science-backed practices from the fields of resilience, positive psychology and mind/body medicine to enable us to navigate difficult moments well. We will focus our attention on choices that activate a growth mindset, cultivate a grounded optimism, and enable wisdom. Attendees will leave with specific practices that can be applied in the classroom or the office, and at home as well. Moreover, skills taught can be used to elevate resilience in an individual as well as throughout a team.
