ISCA Virtual Conference 2025: Building Bridges
This year’s ISCA theme—Building Bridges—represents our shared commitment to helping students, counselors, educators, and school communities move from where they are to where they want to be. Whether strengthening the connection with student needs and services, theory and practice, or vision and implementation, our role as international school counselors is to create strong, intentional pathways forward.
A bridge is a metaphor for the practices, tools, and models supporting this growth and the day-to-day strategies that lead to lasting change.
This theme invites all counselors and educators to consider what it takes to move from the current state to a more connected, supported, and skillful future.

Virtual Conference Overview & Format
Here, you’ll find everything you need to know about how the Virtual Conference is structured and what to expect from the experience.
The ISCA Virtual Conference will highlight real-life examples of how international schools design and implement impactful SEL and Counseling programs and services using the ISCA Student Standards and the ISCA Model as well as other resources.
Through asynchronous, ON-DEMAND presentations, participants will gain:
- Practical strategies
- Creative implementation ideas
- Real-school stories that highlight impact
These sessions will demonstrate how programs, tools, curriculum, and techniques can bridge the gap between vision and practice—helping schools turn big ideas into meaningful, measurable impact for students and communities.
This year’s ISCA Virtual Conference will feature On-Demand sessions and downloadable materials from selected workshop presenters, available to participants from October 29, 2025, through September 1, 2026.
In addition to on-demand content, the conference will include 3–4 special live events hosted throughout the virtual conference window.
Participants will access all recordings, materials, and live sessions through the ISCA Virtual Conference platform starting October 29. The platform also allows attendees to engage with presenters and connect with peers from around the world.
The full schedule of workshops will be available in July 2025.
