This webinar will guide international school counselors through strategies to help manage the anxiety triggered by global conflicts, both for themselves and the students they serve. Emphasizing the development of inner resolve, counselors will learn practical approaches to reduce anxiety, foster emotional strength, and create a stable, supportive environment in their school communities during these uncertain times.


Speaker: Douglas Walker

Dr. Walker is a Clinical Psychologist based in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. With 26 years of professional practice, he has served as a clinician, Clinical Director, and Chief Programs Director at Mercy Family Center, an outreach ministry of Mercy Health System - St. Louis. A graduate of the University of North Texas, where he earned his doctorate, Dr. Walker specialized in the emerging field of Psychoneuroimmunology, focusing on the profound impact of stress on the human immune system.
