Fall 2023 Counseling Consultation Circles with Linden Global Learning Support Services

The Counseling Consultation Circles offer a space for school counselors to receive professional consultation on difficult or complex cases, as well as support each other personally and professionally while managing the challenges of providing care to international students. Led by Linden facilitators, these sessions will provide a clinical perspective and access to resources and tools from the contributions of over 90 international school counselors. 

Sessions:

• Groups will meet 8x from September/October 2023 through January 2024. Each session will meet for 90-minutes.

• Navigating difficult conversations with parents
• Empowering parents to support their children
• Compassion fatigue
• Navigating conversations with other staff members at school
• Child protection and cultural sensitivity, and more…

• Culturally competent care for youth who identify as LGBTQI+
• Mental health & neurodiversity in international schools
• Creating an inclusive work environment for school staff
