We are seeking quality workshop proposals relevant to international school counselors at the Virtual Collaborative 2022 AND the Bangkok Conference 2023!
Proposals that address the theme “Building Belonging in Our Schools” as well as the following interest areas, will be considered:
Advocacy
Allyship
Leadership
Connection with students, staff and/or families
Social emotional learning
Trauma-informed schools and counseling practices
Best practices or strategies for day-to-day situations that counselors encounter with students and parents
Developing resilience
Counseling theory in practice in international schools: Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Positive Psychology
Mental Health and wellbeing practices and policies to support schools, teachers and students
Anxiety in youth
Technology and how it has enhanced your counseling program
The objective is to offer workshops that are as interactive as possible and focused on best practice, research, tools, tips and/or lessons that participants can apply to their work in schools.
Bangkok Conference 2023, Bangkok, Thailand
The last time we held an in-person event was in 2019. It’s exciting to gather together for this live event. All presenters will be required to present in-person in Bangkok, Thailand, March 16 - 18, 2023.
If you are interested in presenting a 60-minute OR 90-minute workshop you have two opportunities to submit a proposal. Please fill out the application, April 7 - May 20, 2022 (Round 1) or June15 - October 15, 2022 (Round 2).
Special Note: By submitting a proposal you are confirming stating that if your workshop is accepted you will attend and present at the Virtual Collaborative 2021 or Bangkok Conference in Bangkok, Thailand.
Registration and fees must be paid by June 30, 2021 for Round 1 and November 30, 2022 for Round 2 proposals.

ISCA places a high value on the skill and expertise of its presenters and views their participation as integral to the success of the Collaborative. ISCA strongly encourages presenters to attend and participate fully in the event. As such, all presenters are required to register for the event at which they are presenting.
Individuals who have not registered and paid for by the June 30, 2022, Round 1 deadline (Virtual Collaborative presenters), or November 30, 2022 Round 2 deadline (Bangkok Conference presenters), are subject to removal from the workshop schedule. Additionally, presenters who do not show up for their scheduled session and do not provide notification to ISCA Organizers may be subject to barring from future ISCA programs and events.
ISCA will provide training materials related to presenting in a virtual platform; all virtual presenters will receive necessary information in June 2022 after confirmation of acceptance.
